Each Spider Series unit contains 9, 12, or 16 PVC inner tubes and is protected by 25-50mm thick insulation material such as rock-wool, and an outer casing made of 1mm thick galvanized steel. The units are connected by joint sleeves also made of galvanized steel.

The Spider Series come in three standard lengths of  50cm, 100cm and 200cm. By using combinations of different cross sections and lengths, various site conditions can be easily accommodated, such as curved tunnels and bridges.  There are two subtypes of the Spider Series for two main applications:

Our newly developed in-Spider series is designed to be used in factories, commercial, and high-rise buildings in plenum environments. The in-Spiders are light-weight and are designed to withstand fierce fire for the security of the optical fiber cables vital to building occupants in emergency situations.

The out-Spider series is designed to be used in tunnels, bridges, and other outdoor, non-underground applications.
